| December | 1962 | Holds exhibition to promote export from Kochi prefecture in collaboration with the prefecture and cities at Kochi Kenmin Hall. |
| April | 1963 | The Association and JETRO offices move from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the Prefectural Industrial Research Institute. |
| May | 1963 | The government institutes June 28th as International Trade Commemoration Day. |
| August | 1965 | Dispatches representatives from Kochi prefecture to Hong Kong (3 months), and continues to do so yearly until 1972. |
| June | 1966 | Begins publicly commending ten excellent workers yearly, from the 4th International Trade Commemoration Day onwards. |
| April | 1968 | The Association and JETRO offices move from the Prefectural Industrial Research Institute to the 7th floor of the Kochi Denki building. |
| June | 1979 | Yasuoka, managing director and head of JETRO retires, after which the head of the prefectural Commerce Policy Division and head of JETRO become executive directors. |
| June | 1981 | The Association's office moves from the Kochi Denki building to the prefectural Commerce Policy Division. |
| January | 1982 | Junichiro Hisamatsu is appointed Association Chairman. |
| June | 1986 | Shinichi Yoshimura is appointed Association Chairman. |
